Racing on your doorstep

The Formula One Championship is known for its intense competition, exhilarating thrills, and eye-watering speeds. Last season was no different, as young Dutch driver Max Verstappen clinched the Championship in controversial style. So far in 2022, the racing has proven just as exciting with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc taking an early lead.

there are some F1 fans that prefer to watch their races in luxury

With plenty more wheel-to-wheel action to come this season, there are still many opportunities to get tickets to the world’s most sought-after races. Not everyone wants to stand next to a dusty circuit, however. There are some F1 fans that prefer to watch their races in luxury rather than fighting through the crowds trackside.

With these people in mind, VegasSlotsOnline News has created a list of five of the best hotel stays for Grand Prix around the world. But these venues won’t just offer you a comfy bed, they provide you with the chance to watch the action from the comfort of your own hotel, in some cases even from the privacy of your own room.

Strap yourselves in for the best front-row seats that money can buy…

Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo – Monaco

Price: $8,369

Where better to begin in VSO News’ list than with the Monaco Grand Prix, due to begin on May 29. With its multimillion-dollar yachts and high-roller casinos, it is seen by many as the true home of the F1. If visitors want to enhance that luxurious F1 experience even further, they can try the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo.

Located right next to the famed Casino de Monaco, the 5-star hotel offers everything you could possibly want from a trip away. It features a spa, swimming pool, sea view, private beach access, and even a restaurant with three Michelin stars.

Most importantly for F1 fans though, the hotel is in the perfect place to view the racing action. Fans can visit the Garnier Suite with its large first-floor balcony overlooking the famous Casino Square. Here, the cars tackle a right-hand turn directly in front of the terrace before racing down the hill towards Mirabeau Corner.

Visitors that want the full F1 experience from their stay can book the four-night package for $8,369. In addition to a double room, this includes two weekend tickets to the Grandstand on Casino Square if you fancy taking in another view of the action. It will also seal you an invitation to drinks with F1 legends on the Friday at Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo.

Four Seasons Hotel – Azerbaijan

Price: $3,738

Since its first Grand Prix in 2017, Azerbaijan has quickly become a firm favorite for F1 fans. Its highly-technical street circuit in Baku has provided many highlights over the years, not least last year’s race that saw Verstappen crash out of the lead with just three laps to go. The 2022 event will take place on June 12, and the Four Seasons Hotel will allow fans to catch the action without even venturing outside.

located on turn 16 on the Grand Prix circuit

The elegant 5-star hotel overlooks the Caspian Sea and Baku Old Town, but most significantly it is also located on turn 16 of the Grand Prix circuit. This means it offers incredible views of the race with the majority of its suites providing balconies overlooking the course. Not only that, but the hotel also has two restaurants, a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, and a fitness center for those who want to fill the time between practice, qualifying, and the race.

Visitors who want a luxurious experience can pay a premium for a Deluxe Caspian Room. This costs around $872 per night and is large enough for two adults. For optimum race viewing, F1 fans can pay to watch in the hotel’s rooftop restaurant the Kaspia for $125 per person. In total, a four-day break at the Four Seasons Hotel with the additional viewing costs will set you back $3,738.

Hilton Garden Inn Hotel – UK

Price: Unconfirmed

Next up, a location that may not offer the same promise of glorious weather but can certainly guarantee edge-of-the-seat racing. In the past, the UK’s Silverstone circuit has hosted incredible wins from legends such as Michael Schumacher, Nigel Mansell, and Damon Hill. Fans hoping for another historic moment can soon try the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel.

hopes to launch the hotel in summer of this year

In the past, any F1 fans visiting Silverstone have had to camp or stay in nearby hotels, but they could soon have an even better option through Hilton’s new development. The hotel company first announced plans to build accommodation on the Silverstone circuit all the way back in 2018. It is still yet to open, but the firm hopes to launch the hotel in summer of this year.

The hotel itself is located opposite the Silverstone Wing pit and paddock complex, which guests will have direct access to via a footbridge over the course itself. Each hotel room will feature a balcony so guests can watch the racing without even leaving their suite. As of yet, Hilton has not confirmed the price of rooms but it will surely be at the top of any visitor’s list.

With the Silverstone Grand Prix set to go ahead on July 3, fans may have a chance to book the promising new hotel if the launch takes place beforehand. That said, rooms will undoubtedly sell out fast.

Carlton City Hotel – Singapore

Price: $5,713

Singapore welcomed its first Grand Prix in 2008, and its night race at the Marina Bay circuit has now become a staple of the F1 calendar each year. One of its most historic moments in 2017 saw Sebastian Vettel crash into Verstappen and his own teammate Kimi Raikkonen. To make sure you catch any fireworks at this year’s race on October 2 you can try the Carlton City Hotel.

the 368-room hotel features an outside pool

Situated in the historical district of Tanjong Pagar, the 368-room hotel features an outside pool, a restaurant, bar, fitness center, and an on-site coffee house. Visitors can take in the sunshine on the hotel’s beautiful sun deck or take a short drive to local attractions such as the colorful Chinatown.

In addition to all these benefits, the hotel is located right next to the Marina Bay circuit. This means it boasts spectacular panoramic views of turns seven, nine, ten, 11, and 14. In fact, its guests can view around 40-50% of the Grand Prix from the comfort of the hotel, with private balcony views on offer.

Fans that want the premium F1 experience can pay $5,745 for the Pearl Package. This provides guests with five nights at the hotel and VIP hospitality, including an open bar and free-flowing champagne for fans taking in the racing action.

W Abu Dhabi – Abu Dhabi

Price: $5,921

The last location on VSO News’ list is also the final race of the F1 season, scheduled for November 20. Last year, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix proved an absolute spectacle. It saw Verstappen clinch the Championship title from Hamilton in dramatic fashion on the final lap, and if you want to make sure you catch the action this year then perhaps you should give the W Abu Dhabi a go.

The iconic building has become synonymous with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and it’s easy to see why. It’s at the doorstep of the Yas Marina Circuit, providing front-row seats to the race each year. Not only can visitors watch the F1 from luxurious rooftop bars, but it also offers 12 restaurants serving award-winning cuisine along with free-flow champagne and fine wines for VIPs.

To do the Abu Dhabi F1 the right way, visitors should book the VIP Hospitality treatment. This includes iconic trackside views, inclusive food and beverage, post-race concert access, and a public pit lane walk on the day before practice. This starts at around $3,830. Meanwhile, a four-day stay at the hotel will bring the total cost to $5,921.
