iSoftBet lands strategic deal with to expand its presence across the Portuguese online gambling space

Developer and supplier of online casino games iSoftBet has agreed to provide its full library to Portuguese gambling wesbite, news emerged today. The deal will enable the casino operator to diversify its offering and the provider to cement itself in the Portuguese gambling market.

The agreement will see iSoftBet’s more than 150 online slot and table games go live with the Portugal-facing operation. In addition, through the provider’s Game Aggregation Platform (GAP), Solverde will be able to add more than 3,000 titles by other game developers to its existing offering.

iSoftBet’s leading Hot Spin and Jumbo Stampede as well as its newest release Piñata Fiesta will all soon be available to Portuguese customers of Solverde’s online casino operation.

iSoftBet’s GAP contains titles by 46 third-party suppliers, including some of the biggest players in the online gambling industry. In addition to that, the platform features a host of marketing and real-time gamification tools designed to help operators attract new customers and boost their retention efforts.

Commenting on the newly landed deal, iSoftBet Chief Commercial Officer Michael Probert said in a press release from earlier today that they are delighted to be able to work with “a prestigious and growing brand” and to enhance their reach in Portugal and “further increase [their] regulated market presence.”

iSoftBet is currently certified to provide its content in 16 regulated markets. Expansion in regulated jurisdictions has been part of the gaming studio’s growth strategy for quite a while now and Mr. Probert pointed out that they are “excited with Portugal’s growth potential.”

Américo Loureiro, Director at Solverde, added that they are thrilled to be partnering with a company with “an excellent reputation for developing high-quality games, and providing a formidable range via its GAP platform.”

Regulated Expansion and New Strategic Partnerships

iSoftBet has been providing its content in the regulated Portuguese market for two and a half years now. Portugal reorganized its digital gambling space in 2015 and issued the first online gambling license under the new rules in May 2016. iSoftBet first entered the liberalized market late in 2016 through a partnership with French gambling company Betclic Everest Group.

The Solverde partnership is the second major deal iSoftBet has landed in the past few days. Earlier this month, the supplier announced that it would help online lottery business Jinni Lotto launch its online casino and venture into this lucrative business.

It has been an eventful week for Solverde, as well. The gambling operator announced a few days ago that the digital arm of gambling giant Novomatic, Greentube, would supply a plethora of games to the Portuguese online casino. The deal will expand Solverde’s offering and will help Greentube extend its regulated presence.
