Novomatic expands footprint in Asia-Pacific with IPG deal

In a move that will expedite its expansion in the Asia-Pacific region, gambling technology group, Novomatic (NVMTC.UL), has announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Asian gaming equipment supplier and gaming operator, Indo Pacific Gaming (IPG).

According to the official press release on Thursday…

Under the terms of the agreement, the New South Wales-headquartered supplier will distribute the Austria-based gaming equipment maker’s complete range of gaming products and systems in the Asia-Pacific region, including Vietnam, Nepal, Goa, Sri Lanka, Laos and Cambodia.

Product offering:

Novomatic’s product suite comprises leading slot machines, multi-game mixes and market-focused games, systems, electronic table games, sports betting, jackpots and media technologies.

Expanding footprint:

In keeping with its strategy for international growth, the supplier has maintained the development of its Asia-Pacific footprint by introducing its most recent gaming technologies throughout the region and with top-performing electronic table games installations.

ICE debuts:

Novomatic also said in the release, that its suite of Asian-themed slot games is growing and that new titles such as Asian Dragon Hot and Drago Hits were debuted in London last week at this year’s ICE Totally Gaming event.

A second win in the category, Novomatic took home “Casino Supplier of the Year” in London at the Global Gaming Awards.

Commenting on the significance of the recognition, Chief Executive Officer for the Austrian firm, Harald Neumann, said…

“We operate around 2,100 electronic casinos and casinos around the world and have 28 technology centers in 16 countries. This enables us to test our products in our own casinos and respond more quickly to industry developments and requests from international customers. This award confirms that we perform highly professional work and that this is also recognized by industry experts.”

The Gumpoldskirchen-headquartered company also launched its new electronic gaming machine cabinet, V.I.P. Eagle III 3.32, at ICE London last week.
