In northern California, the federally-recognized Estom Yumeka Maidu Tribe of Enterprise Rancheria reportedly held a topping-off ceremony for its coming Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento yesterday some 17 years after first envisioning the project.

Autumnal appearance:

According to an official press release and a Wednesday report from local television broadcaster, KTXL-TV, the finished Yuba County casino will sit approximately 34 miles north of Sacramento and has hopes of being able to attract players from across the giant state’s Central Valley when it opens in the autumn.

Comprehensive development:

Glenda Nelson, Chairperson for the Estom Yumeka Maidu Tribe of Enterprise Rancheria, detailed that the finished eight-story venue is to provide full-time employment in an ‘economically challenged’ region for around 1,000 people and will come complete with a casino offering in excess of 1,800 slot and gaming table positions. She continued that the completed Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento will moreover feature a hotel, fitness center and restaurants as well as an outdoor deck and pool area.

Nelson’s statement read…

“This is truly a great day for our tribe and community and for the workers, customers and business partners of our region. Partnering with Hard Rock International and The Seminole Tribe of Florida is a real game changer with their world-recognized brand, commitment to premium quality experiences across a full spectrum of hospitality and entertainment options and unique corporate values make them a dream partner for us.”

All-around attraction:

For his part, Mark Birtha, President for the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento, explained that he is not worried about local competition and believes the addition of a hotel will enable the coming property to serve as a multi-day destination for people from all over the western United States.

Birtha’s statement read…

“With the Hard Rock brand, we really believe we can bring people from the whole western part of the country here. We have properties in Tahoe and Las Vegas and otherwise that we’re going to partner with to bring clientele from all over the region.”
