OpenBet has appointed company president Nikos Konstakis as its next Chief Executive Officer, with the leadership change scheduled to take effect at the end of 2026. Current CEO Jordan Levin will move into the Chairman role and remain involved in the betting and gaming technology provider’s long-term strategic direction.
Konstakis will assume responsibility for OpenBet’s overall vision and day-to-day operations. His remit will cover the company’s growth plans alongside its product and technology priorities. The appointment extends the executive responsibilities he already holds within the business, where he has worked closely on commercial execution and strategic planning.
Levin has led OpenBet since 2021 and will continue supporting its management after moving to the board-level position. The transition follows several significant corporate developments for OpenBet, including a management buyout backed by entertainment executive Ariel Emanuel and the recently announced planned acquisition of OmniLogic.
Konstakis Moves From President to Chief Executive
OpenBet said Konstakis has already played an important role in the company’s operational and commercial development and has helped shape its strategic priorities. He has held several senior positions within the organization, including COO, CPO and managing director before becoming president.
His industry career also includes senior roles outside OpenBet. Konstakis led global sportsbook and product operations at Scientific Games between 2018 and 2021 and later served as managing director of its Athens-based digital operation. Earlier in his career, he spent 19 years at Intralot, where he became group director of betting in 2015.
Levin said Konstakis’ experience across OpenBet made him well suited to lead the company.

Levin previously served as group CEO of Scientific Games’ digital operations and spent several years with the company following its acquisition of Williams Interactive. He served as managing director of Williams Interactive between 2012 and 2014.
Leadership Change Follows Major Corporate Activity
The executive transition comes as OpenBet continues to expand its position in betting technology and the lottery sector. The company recently announced plans to acquire OmniLogic, a move designed to increase its presence in the global lottery market and deepen relationships with operators connected to the World Lottery Association.
OpenBet said OmniLogic would bring additional technology and established customer partnerships that complement its existing operations.
The company has also pointed to its performance during the World Cup as evidence of its current operational scale. OpenBet processed more than 175 million bets during the tournament, with $3 billion wagered through its systems.
Another significant change came through the management buyout that transferred control of the platform business from Endeavor to OpenBet management. The transaction, valued at $450 million, received backing led by Ariel Emanuel and included participation from company executives.
Levin played a central role in that transaction and will remain involved with the business after handing the CEO position to Konstakis.
New CEO Sets Priorities for OpenBet
Konstakis said he plans to build on OpenBet’s existing customer relationships and internal capabilities while increasing the pace of execution across the company.
