Genius Sports Expands Prediction Markets With Prediction.com

Genius Sports has launched Prediction.com, a new consumer-facing platform designed to bring prediction-market information from multiple providers into one location. The service allows users to find event contracts, compare equivalent markets across different platforms and watch probabilities change while events are in progress.

The company introduced Prediction.com through Legend, its consumer media and technology business. Genius Sports acquired Legend for $1.2 billion in February 2026, and the new platform represents one of the first major products to emerge from the combination of the two businesses.

Prediction.com draws on Legend’s existing comparison technology while adding live data supplied by Genius Sports. For sports-related event contracts, users can follow live game activity alongside current prediction-market pricing. The platform displays changing probabilities and prices as sporting events develop.

The service also supports multi-leg contracts. Genius Sports has created proprietary technology that compares multi-leg pricing across different venues, extending the comparison model beyond individual event contracts.

Prediction.com Brings Multiple Markets Into One Platform

Prediction.com currently displays information from 11 prediction-market applications. Platforms featured on the service include Kalshi, Polymarket, Novig, Underdog, FanDuel Predicts and Fanatics.

Users can compare equivalent contracts offered by different providers instead of checking each platform separately. Genius Sports said the prediction-market sector has expanded quickly while the consumer experience remains “fragmented.” The company said Prediction.com aims to make these markets “easier to understand, compare and follow.”

The platform covers the process from identifying available contracts through following their performance during live events. For sports markets in particular, Genius Sports combines its live game feeds with prediction-market data to display developments during play.

Genius Sports already works with prediction-market operators through its data and integrity services. The company supplies official sports information to platforms operating sports-related event contracts and provides services intended to support the integrity of those markets.

Prediction.com gives Genius Sports a direct consumer presence within the same sector. The company can now participate at the stage where users search for available markets and examine pricing before tracking an event.

Genius Sports described the service as a “single destination” for consumers looking for prediction markets.

Legend Acquisition Supports New Consumer Product

The launch also shows how Genius Sports intends to use Legend following its acquisition earlier this year. Legend operates a portfolio of consumer sports brands and reaches millions of sports fans through its media and technology operations.

The $1.2 billion deal attracted questions from investors and analysts after Genius announced the transaction in February. Genius executives subsequently argued that Legend offered capabilities beyond a conventional affiliate operation.

Prediction.com uses those consumer-facing capabilities while connecting them with Genius Sports’ core sports-data operation. The combination gives the company a way to place its data directly inside a product aimed at prediction-market users.

The prediction-market sector has attracted increasing attention in the United States. Reported target valuations have reached $40 billion for Kalshi and $22 billion for Polymarket, while sports-data companies have been assessing how their existing services can support the sector.

Genius Sports CEO Mark Locke has described prediction markets as a “net benefit” for the company, although he has also acknowledged that regulatory decisions could affect how the sector operates.

“I believe they create more businesses to supply, more ways to monetise the same sports activity and more competition for the customers we help operators win,” Locke wrote.

“Most of the demand they have surfaced appears new.”

Genius Sports Plans Further Prediction.com Expansion

The launch adds another component to Genius Sports’ prediction-market strategy. The company sees opportunities to provide sports technology and data services as prediction platforms increase their coverage of sporting events.

Prediction.com also creates another channel for prediction-market operators. Platforms included in its comparisons can gain exposure when consumers search for contracts and review pricing across competing services.

The company plans to broaden the service as the prediction-market sector develops. Additional platform integrations and functionality are expected to form part of that process.

“Prediction.com will continue to expand its coverage, functionality and partner integrations as the global prediction market ecosystem develops,” the company added.

The launch gives Genius Sports a consumer product alongside its existing business-to-business relationships with prediction-market companies. Through Legend, the group now operates a comparison platform that combines event-contract information with its own live sports-data capabilities, giving users a central location to compare markets and follow pricing while sporting events are underway.
